ZAR is available in over 180 countries worldwide. It's designed to be a global solution, particularly beneficial for those in emerging markets or countries with unstable local currencies. The list of Restricted Countries is found in Section 2.1 of our Terms of Service.
ZAR offers both virtual and physical Visa debit cards in USD. These cards allow you to spend your digital dollars anywhere Visa is accepted, both locally and internationally. We also offer a limited edition Metal Card for eligible users.
While specific deposit methods may vary by country, ZAR typically allows you to add funds by transferring stablecoins from another platform like Binance, through bank transfers, credit/debit cards, or other local payment methods. Once added, your money is converted to digital dollars (stablecoins) in your account.
There are no fees to transfer digital dollars on the ZAR app or by making USD purchases on a ZAR debit card. However some services like ATM withdrawals or transactions in foreign currency may incur fees. The app for the most up-to-date fee information will be available in our app.
By using ZAR's USD-based card, you can avoid high foreign transaction fees and unfavorable exchange rates typically charged by traditional banks when making international purchases or withdrawals.
With ZAR, you can access your funds any ATMs around the world that accepts Visa debit cards, allowing you to withdraw local currency using your ZAR card. Remember that ATM withdrawals in currencies other than USD may incur foreign exchange fees.
